The Irish Open poker tournament created in 1981 by Irishman Terry Rogers, is not only the oldest tournament in Europe but also the longest No Limit Texas Hold’em poker tournament (second in the world after the WSOP).
The 2024 edition will take place in Dublin during Easter weekend, from April 18th – 21st in the DoubleTree by Hilton hotel. In 2023 the prizepool reached €1 million and the big winner, Ian Simpson, took away €260,000.
